Felix Riba, coach and sports director at the CTR, finalist at the Team World Championship
The Spanish +55 years old tennis team finished second at the Team World Tennis Championship. The captain of the team was Felix Riba, member and sports director of the Catalunya Tennis Resort.
The Tournament was held in Christchurch, New Zealand. During the dates of the tournament an eathquake affected that city and all the tournament got affected.
Even after the earthquake happened, the spanish players played great and they beat one of the favorite teams, United States on the semifinals. Riba played a very close match against Ross Person. Riba finally beat the American on three sets (7/5 5/7 7/6).
The Spanish team +55 years old consisted of J.J. Cambra, M. Mir, J.F. Arcones-Pastor and Felix Riba.
