The Spanish +55 years old tennis team finished second at the Team World Tennis Championship. The captain of the team was Felix Riba, member and sports director of the Catalunya Tennis Resort. The Tournament was held in Christchurch, New Zealand. During the dates of the tournament an eathquake affected that city and all the tournament got affected. Even after the earthquake happened, the spanish players played great and they beat one of the favorite teams, United States on the semifinals. Riba played a very close match against Ross Person. Riba finally beat the American on three sets (7/5 5/7 7/6). The Spanish team +55 years old consisted of J.J. Cambra, M. Mir, J.F. Arcones-Pastor and Felix Riba.

Felix Riba, the sports director of the Catalunya Tennis Resot (in Santa Coloma de Farners - Girona), won the 2011 Spanish Tennis Championship on the age group of +55 years old. This year the tournament was held in Club de Tennis Llafranc. In the final he beat Josep Burrul 6/1 6/2, playing at his best. Riba has three Spanish Championship tittles and he has been four times finalist. CONGRATILATIONS CHAMPION!

From August 6th to August 11th 2012 the 2nd ITF Senior Circuit, grade 4, will take place at the CTR Catalunya Tennis Resort. The categories go from +35 to +80 years old, males and females. There is a hotel for the players at our Resort. Book your trip early so you can enjoy your holidays with your family.
